Jessica Jane Julius’s wearable collection began in 2021 when she was invited by to create functional wearable sculpture for the exhibition “Reformation” at Heller Gallery by artist Erica Rosenfeld during Jewelery Week. Since then, this series has been exhibited at Vetri Gallery in Seattle, Metals Museum in Memphis TN, Houston Center for Contemporary Crafts in Texas, and the Urban Glass Store in Brooklyn, NY. The work has been acquired into multiple private collections including Craft Historian Helen Drutts collection and published in her book RINGS! 1968-2021.

Every ring in this collection is truly one-of-a-kind. The glass gemstones in these rings are created using a unique process that starts with actual crystals or rocks. By taking rubber molds of these objects and employing a freeze and fuse technique I am able to transform the crystals into glass. I envision these rings as miniature sculptures that forge an intimate bond with the wearer. More than just adornments, they are statement pieces that resonate with elegance and sophistication, perfect for special occasions, gallery openings, or exclusive parties.
